This application provides a speed camera warning system for suitable Series 60 3ed phones. It is designed to operate either in conjunction with Nokia Maps, or in the background (e.g. whilst using another application or in standby) and popup to the foreground with an audio visual alert, then return to the background

Version 4.0:
SpeedCam is now a single SIS file. Previous versions of SpeedCam must be uninstalled beforehand (select app and press backspace C key) or an update error will be reported. scLib and SpeedCamData can also be optionally uninstalled.
Application can now be modified to display in a non-English language.
UTF8 files can now be used, so that speedcam data and languages do not need European alphabet.
Speedcam data can now include an optional camera operational bearing.
N95-8GB option preference removed as no longer required.
Some minor defects fixed and extra error checking added. In particular landmarks without location data are now ignored.

Problems:
On startup, just flashes a white screen and goes back to the applications menu. Install Python in phone memory.
Application sometimes shuts down. Update firmware
Maps overlay not displayed in landscape mode. Intentional
